Well, honestly, start looking at all the good stuff you are going to get to do now. For the kids sake, I would quit any drugs, and stop drink, and this is a must for the girlfriend. You dont want your baby to have any defects, and you dont want to be wasting any money right now. Start saving it all.
Its going to be hard. Really hard. Especially since you are young, still in school, and have a baby coming. But like has been said before, stay in school, dont be a fool! Haha. Getting your HS diploma will make it a lot better for you when you graduate. Better jobs, better money.
Both you and your girlfriend should probably start working now or soon, unless you already are. You have a few months were you can be saving and preparing for the baby.
I hope your parents and her parents are understanding about the whole situation. They should be seeing how both you and her are going to be responsible about this, and your parents will be a lot of help.

Right now you have time to prepare for everything and get ready. If you have everything planned out, it should go just fine.

I also hope things work out for you and your girlfriend. This is a tough situation and we can all sit here and judge you, but we all do dumb stuff… I hope that both sets of your parents are understanding, like Jerreck said. I was watching the Maury daytime talk show and one girl had a baby at 17, was single and made valedictorian when she graduated. So, it is possible to stay in school and do well. Many people even go onto college. Keep your heads up and try to get some kind-of plan. If you live in the US, Look into the WIC program (WIC Program), they can give you a check every month to buy milk, dipers, juice and other things that a baby needs. It might help curb the financial burden on your family and hers.
I read some of your threads and it seems like you’ve made some bad choices in your short life. I don’t want to condemn you, but seriously look at where your life is going. You’re 16 and you’ve got a kid on the way and you said you’ve done Ecstacy in another thread. Brendon, one thing that people never show on TV or your friends never tell you about sex and drugs is that there are serious consequences for these things. No one ever seems to show anyone strung out or how difficult it is after having a child as a result of sex. Look, I’m really not trying to judge you. That doesn’t help you in anyway and I’m no better. No, I’ve never done drugs or had sex, but I’ve done lots of dumb things so I want you to know that no one is better than anyone else and that we all mess up, but seriously look at where your life is going and make some changes…
Unless your saying that sex is dumb, he wore protection and at 16 you couldnt really ask for much more, except abstinance (sp?)

My cousin had a baby at the age of 17, but her and her husband seem to be doing alright.
And what’s wrong with abstinence? Sex doesn’t seem all that great to me anyway, I can wait until I’m married or never… Look, I’m not trying to put anyone who’s had sex outside of marriage down, but it was a bad decision for him to make and we all know that condoms break…and now he’s got a kid long before anyone is ready to have children. Like I’ve stated, it is possible for people to have kids young and do great. I gave an example. I will say it again; [b]I am not better than anyone, nor do I pass judgement on someone for having sex before marriage[/b], but what good has come out of it in this situation?

but seriously just stick by your girlfriend and go to the doctor with her for support that the least you can do for her now.
