well i been riding for about 2 and a half weeks now and i got invited to go muni tomorrow witha buncha guys!(well i wasnt really invited i kinda called and asked if i can come )
The key to your first MUni ride is to have an aggressive attitude; try things that you don’t think you’ll be able to do, and you’ll probably surprise yourself. Lower the seat, lower your tire pressure, and when you’re dealing with obstacles, just keep pedaling, even if you’re a little out of balance.
And have fun!
dude im so gonna have fun and ive been off of 3 foot drops so i think im ready. also i lowered my pressure and seat.
Have a blast…you’ll have even more fun then you think you will…especially if you have good areas to do it.
i noticed you lived in rowlett. i live in denton do you go muni with these guys? they meet on parker just west a midway.
I didn’t know there were riders there…the only person I’ve ever rode with is Matt (DudeWithASock)…he lives a few blocks away from me.
Don’t lower the seat too much; it’s MUCH harder to climb hills if it’s too low. That’s why I like my flip-lock for fast height changes.
for real i just started and i already know like 6. hmm maybe we should all get together and ride some time. i know this kid that can hop up onto a table from a still stand. he rocks.
Sure, come on over to Rowlett.
Can you drive yet?
no but i can probably convince my mom. also i get to meet a trials guy that my aunt knows and hes been riding for about 3 years. according to my cousin hes really good. maybe i can get some of his awesome power!!!
man this sucked i had a fun time but the guys i wanted to ride with kinda ditched me. but they were WAY older than me like 35-50 years of age.
