I don’t sede how any one that unicycles can stop. i mean to me it’s addicting. i don’t know if it’s because I’ve only been riding a year and 1 month now but I love it. Nahh I’ve never met another unicyclist but if you get bored of your area thinuniking then just take up free style:D .

you know he never said what he quit, for all we know he quit smoking, lots more things more social than that, and I say good job if thats the case.
For awhile it seemed he quit typing, but then he posted again so that couldn’t be it. Plus his next post said he wanted to make people mad, so maybe he was kidding and didn’t really quit whatever it was he informed us that he quit, and if it was unicycling that just proves that it’s impossible to quit riding.
Anyways, just jabbering, i’m gonna quit now too.

He still hasn’t actually told us what it was he quit. Everybody assumes it is unicycling, but maybe its not.
Assuming it is is unicyling he quit then this a heartbreaking message.

Nobody really said anything about him quitting. Some people said that it kinda burned out for them too, and others said they’d never quit. People just made comments about their feelings on the subject.
I ride alone, and get a bit bored and lonely with it sometimes, but it picks up again. I think it would be much easier to enjoy with people to ride. I always think of those muniac guys who said how they are always pushing each other to be better and its evident in their movies.
I noticed you hadn’t posted in a while because you posted a lot right when I started posting, I think April. That must of been your high point. I remember you being really excited about it too. I think it strange that you can quit cold turkey like that. If you ever get back in to it update us or at least me, because I’d be interested to know if you are able to resist. What are you going to do with your former uni time now?
In the end, its too bad you quit, because there will be less people laughing in the streets.

I’m sorry to here you quit unicycling, from what I’ve heard, you really loved it for awhile 
I don’t know why you quit, but then it sounds like you’ve already made up your mind about it so it doesn’t really matter. You obviously enjoy whatever you replaced uniing with better, so I really have no reason to tell you to take up uniing again ;). Good luck in whatever you doing now

Why exactly are you so mad at him? Everyone gets really excited about something for awhile, and then gets tired of it and dumps it. I’ve done this several times with various things. So what if he quit unicycling? If he likes it for awhile then thats that. Who are we to tell him what to do? Its his life.
And if he is just trying to make people mad like he said in his post, by angrily replying with posts that just tell him to go away, all your doing is playing his game. If you get mad, your just doing what he wants and encouraging him. On the other hand, if you reply politely, any spite he might have will fall flat, and he’ll stop trying to get on your nerves

Are you serious? I can’t imagine not needing a unicycle. Until my MUni went missing, it was my form of transport. I don’t have a car. There are many moments when you need a unicycle; for going to shops, going to school, going to work, visiting friends, and spending recreational time going anywhere or nowhere. I NEED ANOTHER UNICYCLE!

i’m yet to hear one convincing example of ‘needing’ a unicycle for a purpose that does not involve riding it

Sorry Gild, I thought it was clear it wasn’t a serious comment and to be taken in jest! But then again I don’t get the rush and buzz from unicycling that I get from other things, so I need a unicycleto do that!
