Hey everyone! Just wanted to ask if anyone has had any trouble with the law? Not being allowed on streets/sidewalks/trails? Has the Blue Shift or anyother uni.5 been pulled over for speeding?
A few months ago, I was riding along a seawall/sidewalk thing with some others in vancouver, and some people with all sorts of offical looking t-shirts came along and told us that we were riding the wrong way. Didnât know sidewalks were one way now.
Every now and then someone shouts âyou shouldnât ride bikes on the pavement!â at me. I generally either ignore them, or make some comment about not being on a bike.
Generally I find that as long as youâre not trying to be cocky and getting in the way or causing a hazard most people are intrigued enough to not care.
But then every now and then you meet Grumpy Old Man who just mumbles and swears at you. They are probably what I dislike most about unicycling, sad to say.
All Iâve ever had from policemen are grins and one âyouâve lost a wheelââŚ
Phil, just me
Stanley Park started getting really picky a couple of years ago. there were too many injuries. You also can be told not to inline skate in certain areas if you are not that good a skater. Something about falling into traffic.
