Please record your support (or opposition) with the governor’s office to help him make a the decision of whether or not to veto it.
You can do this by calling 916-445-2841, then pressing 2, then 1, then 1.
If you veheminently oppose the act you can also dial the same number but press 2 at the end instead of a 1.
I don’t want to turn this into a debate of any type, we have enough political debates on here right now. I just wanted to make this information available to people, whether California residents or not.
I don’t think it’s the Governor that’s asking. He already said he’s going to veto it, and I don’t think a last-minute poll will change this. According to his statement, he believes this decision should be made by the courts, not by the legislature.
Fortunately he also said he would veto the (yet again) bill for drivers licenses for illegals…
