If you start a thread, you are responsible for …

  1. any harm or bad feelings that occur as a result of it, and you can be held personally liable. If as a result of your thread, I slip and fall on harsh words, my lawyer will be contacting you.

  2. the eventual death of the thread, it’s on you. all the threads you have neglected are now in the thread cemetery. They need your prayers.

  3. if people follow advice as a result of a thread you start, and harm results, you are responsible.

  4. if people change careers, go off track, abandon Science or go into Rebellion against Science, you are responsible for their livelihood.

  5. you must go back and read the thread at least once, and you should post just to prove you went back.

  6. If a student takes your advice in writing a paper, or follows your grammar advice, You are responsible for any adverse consequences.

What else are people who start threads responsible for?
