It was really nice today in my town. 80 degrees, sunny, great for riding. The weather was like that until about 5:30 or 6, when Zeus decided it was time to send some lightning down. it was terrible! Raining, lightning, thunder, etc. But now it’s better again. But it’s too late to ride anyway.
I think I should start building an ark. When I said it’s been raining for weeks, I wasn’t exaggerating much. Take a look at this grim forecast. This is how it’s been for a long time…
As a Northwesterner I feel your pain. As you all know it rains 24/7 in Seattle, we had one winter where it went something like 100 consecutive days with measurable rainfall. Even hard core web-footed unicyclists got tire of that.
The problem is we’ve had a spat of good weather. There is this strange orange ball in the sky and my skin gets this reddish hue.
Our Memorial Weekend was forcast for lots of showers but now looks real good. If this keeps up I’m going to have to activate my sprinkler system.
Give us our rain back, but not until after Monday; We’ve got a Muni ride scheduled…
