idling and mounting

After about 3 weeks I am now at the stage of riding back and forth across the
gym without to much trouble. (I make it every 3rd or 4th time).

I am now turing my attention to mounting and idling (spelling ?).

The way I mount is to step up on the left peddle, lean forward,
1/2 rotation backward, bounce 1/2 rotation forward and then off. It works fine
if I have a wall to touch briefly. Should I continue with this method until I
have my balance perfected or try a different way of mounting ?

What abount idling, it seems much harder that just peddling across the room. I
am getting nowhere fast. Any words of hope, etc ???.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Isn’t that the idea ?

If you get any good advice through private email, I wouldn’t mind a copy. I have
been dabbling with idling, but I haven’t had much luck.

I too have been dabbling, and I think its just practice - I can do
three or four idles (?) sometimes now, although not every time ;-)
