So I have a rail nearly built and just need to decide on the height. I plan to grind with it on flat ground and put down curbs. I had it cut to be about 18-19" tall, but it seemed a little high.
So, those of you who are experienced with grinding, what height would you choose?
for a flat rail just put it so you have to hop up onto it but not to high to where you can rack yourself on it. I have one that i mess around and its about 20 inches high. Just do what feels comfortable for you.
I think it depends what you want to do with it, if you want to do tech grinds (which are way fun) then put it pretty low, probably several inches above where your tire would rub. If you’re using it to work up to handrails though probably put it higher.
