For quite some time. They bought it well over a year ago, if I remember
correctly. I think it was as far back as Fall 99. But I could be wrong.

They have yet to make the two clients talk to each other, though.

yeah i know, i remember when they first bought icq i was thinking that
they’d cross the two pretty quick and make one super messenger, but they
haven’t, yet anyhow…
