I want a Uni?

I am a ‘fish’ at Texas A&M and I want to learn how to Unicycle. I have some
friends who know how and I want to. To get to the point - I saw a Cycle Pro Uni
at a local shop for 65$. Is this agood Uni? Should I buy it? Where can I get
some books to help me out? Please E-mail me or post an answer. And maybe a few
tips or pointers. Thanks, Antonio aao4247@acs.tamu.edu

RE: I want a Uni?

I bought a 20" uni for $85. there’s no brand name on it or any markings save the
word SOLO on the fork. Any ideas on who made it?

Antonio, I’m afraid that I can’t advise you on the Cycle Pro, but I do want to
send you a big Howdy! As a member of the Class of '83, I was one of the founding
members of the TAMU One Wheelers. I don’t know if this group still exists, but
every Monday afternoon (or Wedneday, or whatever) we met at the Grove to
practice and do stunts. On a good day, we would have 10-15 people show up. We
were an MSC approved student organization, so we got funding, recognition, and a
great deal of respect.
