It’s a tip! What on earth are the people working there supposed to think? Do they have to ask about every single item people take there just on the off chance that they didn’t mean to leave it?
I hope Pete is able to find who bought it and find a satisfactory resolution but pinning any blame on the workers at the site is out of order.
I don’t see anything that is “gay” about this situation. Using “gay” as a generic perjorative is something that should be avoided. Besides making you look like an inarticulate moron, it’s offensive and cheapens the effectiveness of the english language.
I’m afraid there’s no happy ending. According to the woman who supposedly bought it for $10, she didn’t buy it, she sold it.
It seems a bit weird because it means that she found it, priced it and sold it without consulting any of the other staff members who could’ve told her that the guy who left it outside (me) didn’t want it to be sold.
As I already mentioned, the other staff members there thought that it had been left there as an accident so surely the right thing for them to have done would’ve been to have NOT SOLD IT for at least a few hours!?
yeah! time to take the law into our own hands.
and if anyone ever turns up with a kh and no explanation of where they got it from (and we can confirm this with UDC ) we shall cut off their head!
