Playing paintball on a Uni?

Anyone ever played paintball on a Uni? seems like a fun and interesting sport.

no shooting while mounting though

That -would- be interesting. How about those poles with the padded
ends like American Gladiators used, inside a defined area. And unicycle
jousting. That would be cool. Falling off backwards might hurt though.

Unicycle tug-of-war?

Has anyone done any of that stuff or seen it done?

I’ve got a gun if anyone wants to come down to Florida and try it out.

My friends and I play Sumo (Gladiators) on unicycles, where we try with all
our might to knock each other down. I’m sure a skilled rider could fire any
projectile weapon that could be used by a standing person, with less
accuracy but without being knocked off the unicycle.

I hope this does not become a trend though…

Snowball battles are also great fun on a uni
I am up for the uni paintball (little round bruises will go great with my peddle scraped legs  )

How many points for shooting people who start singing circus music when
they see us?

I don’t think that you would need to worry about recoil with a paint ball gun (aiming would be interesting though.) If you were shooting a shot gun, however, would be kind of interesting. Trap shooting on a uni?

There are probably guns which recoil enough to cause a problem for a
unicyclist, but really I think you could learn to compensate for it;
you can while you’re standing, after all.

They used to have paratrooping corps with fold-up bicycles; they’d hit
the ground and then have mobility. The problem, of course, is that a
bicyclist is mostly a target (unless it’s Spike
Bike–<http://members.aol.com/clubnbc/spike_1.htm>), while a
unicyclist could easily fire a weapon, and be more manuverable to boot.
How about the Elite MUni Brigade?

Yep - I’ve done some uni jousting in the past. We used dustbin lids
for shields with padded jousting poles to ensure noone got hurt too
badly. Similar to Sumo or Gladdies in that the heavy riders with a
bit of stickability tended to do well.

No offense to all the unicycle fans, but if I’m to go into a war, give me a
vehicle I can a) Hang stuff on, b) Coast on, c) Sell (and find a buyer for)
in an emergency. Unicycles are great, but they can’t beat a bike for
utility.
