The blue bar appears waay to the left, and goes waay to the right (beyond the gray confines of the underlying graphic) on my screen. Neat though!

quite cool indeed. especially on my thinkpad x61s where i actually get some time to appreciate it, but it does go past the bar for me too on librewolf

Update your forum, then enable the feature at https://forum.monocycle.info/admin/config/upcoming-changes (Enable custom splash screen) then https://forum.monocycle.info/admin/site_settings/category/all_results?dependsOn=enable_custom_splash_screen&filter=all_results

It uses Discourse’s CSS color variables so the colors will change accordingly on forum.monocycle.info.

Right now, the update is so fast that it doesn’t get all the way to the right. It does look like the blue bar is centered (was off by like a pixel in the vertical direction). The bar also does seem to start from the left correctly.
I haven’t examined the graphic but it seems like the white bar is now set as the clip polygon for the blue bar? If so, that’ll work great. I can’t detect anything weird about it anymore - looks great.

I had an opportunity to observe the bar load from left to right a few times. Looks great, nothing wrong with it at all!

I noticed this and didn’t see this thread because for some reason the default when I open the tab it sends me to unread, not recent as before.
I love it though
