So my friends and I put together a circus.

Actually it doesn’t involve much unicycling at all, way more juggling. We have 2 world class unicyclists, a contortionist, and two of us do a little bit of everything.

I do a little bit of everything. Unicycling, juggling, glass walking, fire breathing, padidiling (see this thread on padiddling do you spin things?, and a straitjacket escape.

World record

On 14 March 2007, the Dutch student association TSV D’Artagnan set the new world record simultanious fire breathing. A total of 113 people breathed fire together.

On my birthday, and 113 is the apartment number a friend used to live in, that’s an awesome coincidence.

As well as…

The highest flame blown by a fire breather is 7.20m (23ft 7in) and was achieved by Tim Black (Australia) on the set of Zheng Da Zong Yi - Guinness World Records Special in Beijing, China, on 15 September 2007.

That was my 1 year of Unicycling day!

i am puting a small thing together with some friends for our school talent show. me and a friend are using dibolos, im unicycling, and a third friend is juggling. and were gunna do it all to music and whatnot. it should be fun…we’ll see.

We don’t bring up the downside of alcohol every time someone has a little fun with it. or the risks associated with unicycling.

While I very much appreciate Gild’s concern for my (our) health, I don’t think I’ll stop firebreathing anytime soon. We don’t do it on a regular basis (most places will absolutly not let you firebreath indoors) so it’s not a staple of the show. When we do have the chance to go for it, we do.

Actually, I’m the only person using lamp oil, everyone else is using 151 or 198 proof alchahol. I think their method is dangerous, and they think mine is. Oh well. I’d like to switch to bio deisel sometime in the near future.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, and once again, sorry for the mistake where I said “two world class unicyclists”. I’m actually the only person who unicycles. We have two other guys who are fantastic jugglers. (I’m so-so still).

We’ve had a few gigs in brooklyn so far. I’ll let the board know next time we have a performance.
