i haven’t commented on your particular chaos-theory inspired posts in the past and i’m not about to start now, but…
the guy u refer to was an exceptional athlete, not only physically but also in the ‘heart’ department
as the 2000 tour de france pointed out, he was the perfect foil for armstrong to show the world that he is indeed not only ‘one’ of the greats…
(i still would’ve loved to have seen armstrong go head-to-head with indurain like i would’ve loved to have seen schumacher go head-to-head with senna like i would’ve loved to see paarvo nurmi go head-to-head with…u get the picture)
he recently passed away
after the loss to armstrong, his life started going in directions he may not have planned and most definately wouldn’t have wanted
