It’s snowed like crazy here, and I’ve been eating it up (except the yellow snow). I always liked mtbing in snow, but it’s nothing compared to a muni in fresh powder. It makes me sad to hear that people coop themselves up all winter long. It’s been -25C here, and I’m out in it everyday. Loving it.
Another 3"-6" expected here tonight. We love the snow, too!

It was warm enough today that I practiced with just a t-shirt on.
Thats what I do… and we have over a foot.

It’s been -25C here. I wear an undershirt, t shirt, sweater, jacket…
and it’s still cold…but that’s all part of the northern experience I guess. As long as it comes with snow, bring it on.
I love the snow… looking at it at least.
I hate being out in it. Im the least devoted unicycler… cause I never do it if its really cold. Well never means not much. haha.
Mee too! I’ve been bike riding every day (and midnight) to work; one of my friends invented bicycle-towed snow plow which makes bike path riding easy. Aside from making our cyclecommuting lives easier, the Peterson Plow improves the lives of pretty much everyone who uses the Fox River Trail. I recommend the idea to everyone. It’s hard to tow, but not that hard.
oh, uni…
I narrowly averted wrecking my knee (just a gigantor scab now) on the uni last week, when i upd while doing the macarena in front of a bunch of snowbound commuters… last friday i spent an hour at lunch going splat, trying to roll my muni through 6" drifted snow: not so easy, all my cow orkers are sure i’m cwazy after watching me get up and fall down for an hour… TOO MUCH FUN!
snow is the greatest thing of nature. that and muffins.
wow -25C is really cold its pretty cold, not that cold. The coldest its gotten here is about 0-5F. Snow kinda sucks because you can’t really ride outside very well. But you can snowboard!!!
Snowboarding looks pretty fun. I’ve only done it being towed behind a skidoo.
A muni breaks thru the snow quite well. I’ve been able to ride thru about half a foot of fluffy snow. Getting going is a bit tricky, but once I’ve got momentum, I’m good to go. I’m looking forward to bombing down the ski hill here. They’ve been making snow for a couple weeks. Should be fun.
We have snow too. I’ve been playing around in the snow lately and learned how to slide about a foot and a half 
Once we get some more I’m heading over to the sleding hill to ride down it… well, maybe fall/tumble/slide/get hit by many snowballs from evil bystanders… I’ll probally make some chains so I don’t kill myself while going down the hill, but until then I’m gonna have LOTS of fun
