I finally gave in...I bought another bike.

Recently i had been toying with the idea of buying a new bike… It seemed reasonable seeing as how ive spent $2000 in unis in under a year. I knew i wanted i dirtjump bike so thats what i got. I bought it from the bike shop i work at. I bought a 2006 Kona Scrap. its pretty awsome i must say. Marzocchi fork, hydraulic disc brakes, splined crankset. I spent a little over $800 ount and i think i made the right choice(Pic Below).

So, i kno there are people out there who put more on their bikes that theyre unis…So what bike/bikes do you have?

that is a pretty awesome machine, for having two wheels, anyway. i really like the color

Yeah…Color was one of the deciding features in this case…Price wasnt to much of a factor but if i didnt have my discount this would have cost around $1200.

those are nice bikes I had a friend with that bike and he would rip it off some massive* jumps . I thought you were/thinking of getting a trials bike?

  • in my oppinion

Cool!

I have a Cannondale CAAD4 R600 2002 aluminum road bike that I got used for $375. It’s pretty awesome too.

bike always broke… it’s gay

Since you live in Ontario… it’s ok that it’s gay

LOL^

I have an old Schwinn Sport that was my fathers, and an old(er?) Peugot Nautilus that is my mom’s. We also have some beach-cruiser type bike, and my sister’s 10 speed mountain bike (a Huffy I believe). I only have unicycles, as I outgrew my last serious bike.

I have this

LOL!!!

Instead of starting a new thread… I’ll ask here.

Where can I find trial bikes online?? (US store) And don’t say Egay, that would be rude

Hahhahaaa
into the sig it goes:D

Go eat some more frogs frenchie. At least Ontario is acctually part of Canada…Quebec is like a tumour,Dragging Canada down…

And Reed i was gonna buy a Trials bike but i figured hey…Ive already got a Trials uni and a DH Muni…But i dont have a Dirtjump Muni. So the DJ bike was the obvious choice

i have a raleigh mountain bike.

i have a 1998 FSR decked out in full raceface marzocchi Z1 (5" locks down at 2") 5.5" stratos rear shock w/lockout, XT disc hubs on mavic 519 wheels

sitting in a heap on my balcony for the last 2-3 years

i am going to make the frame into a cool computer desk (frame parrallel to floor encased in plexi and lights) and the fork into a bar stool

don’t mind kapoute, e doesn’t mean hany arm, e just as ha tough time speaking Canadian

Go you, man!

I gave up bikes when I started unicycling, then realised I was being a dick and started them again.

This is a pic of 2 of my bikes. The grey one is a Rocky Mountain Flow 1.0 (totally standard) and the yellow one is a singlespeed rigid I built for going to work and stuff. They are both awesome, the yellow one for speed and never having to fix/adjust it, and the grey one for being able to chuck it about and not breaking.

I also have a Kona Humu Humu Nuku Nuku Apua A Deluxe singlespeed cruiser which is just cool as fuck but is up for sale as I don’t have the space.

Bikes rock just as much as unis!

i tried to keep biking as long as possible once starting to uni, because they truly are fun, and a way different kind of fun.

that lasted till the next suspension fluid change, to which i then said, ‘Funk this!’

I bought a 2005 Trek 6700 with disc brakes. I love riding it, but haven’t really made enough time for it… (because of my KH24).

It’s also a $1,200 bike that I, too, got for $800. I love great deals!

It looks like this:

I just got back from a sweet ride on the new DJ. I hucked it off some awsome kickers and it took all the beatings. I still love my unis but theres definately a place in my heart for this bike.

Ive got more, but no pics… maybe later

What kind of DH is that?
