I had to do a speech on any topic i wanted for english, so i did it on unicycling of course! by the end of my speech everyone wanted one. I showed them my wheel walk abilities i went down and up stairs(scared my teacher to death) and glided & hopped for awhile up stuff. They didnt even know there was offroad unicycles! Everyone tried it to see how hard it was and was amazed at how good i can ride it. It was pretty kewl riding up and down the stairs in the middle of school. And the best part was when my friend that hates unicycles and thinks there dumb and for clowns walked by when i was riding it and you could tell he wished he was in my shoes. Maybe he will give unicycling another try again now that he saw how kewl it can be.
awesome. i bet you were beating the girls with sticks after you were done.
nope not with sticks, with my books
spiffy! I bet you’ll get a lot of new unicyclists at your school soon…
Hey man, thats awesome. similar thing happened to me last week. I was doing a preformance test for forensics. I did my required speach on uni’s. I Memorized it the day before while riding my lawn. Got a 96% on it. Got most of the reactions you did, but im not as cool as you seeing as i didnt give a demonstration. props to ya man.
i know how you feel, i was doing a thing in lit class and my unicycle was my 3-d object. i idled for half of the speaking part then i fell becuase i hit the podium, but it was still really cool
Chase
Thats cool. I did a speech once on unicycles also. I know that atleast one kid bought a uni and learned to ride because of the speech.
i got an A- on my speech and kids are still asking where they can get a uni!
Re: I did good!
Bad Idea at School:
Kid tries to ride
Kid Falls
Kid Sues you
You pay lots-o-money…
Unfortunately, unless you are 100% sure you can prevent the person from getting hurt at all, or aren’t worried about a lawsuit, letting people try and ride your uni at school is a bad idea. It can get yourself and the school sued by crazy parents.
Re: Re: I did good!
i had to show them what skill it takes to ride it because i made it look easy. I did every trick perfectly! when the kids tried it they couldnt even get up on it to fall down.
yes, sometimes we unicyclists do have a tendency to make things look easy.
sweet job!
Last week we had a unicycling unit in pe and everyone was amazed at my talent. It was also fun for me to watch other people go through the slow learning process
I went through.
