I don’t know if this is a pedal stall on a curb, or if there even is a pedal stall (but I think I’ve heard of it), but I can do the following now:
Ride up to a regulation size/height curb,
start hopping,
ride forward a little,
have the pedal land flat on the curb,
balance for however long I want to,
resume hopping,
and ride off.
And itz weird, cuz I find it harder than grinding, but then again I grind on the crank.
I might be at practice on Tuesday, but I just re-injured my ankle trying to backwards wheel-walk, so I dunno if I’ll be able to. Maybe I should practice the pedal stall with my GOOD foot on the curb, so I don’t have to put all that weight on my bad one. By the way, does anyone have any tips for backwards wheelwalk? (both feet) Sabin, can you do it?
