I bet drilling through the handle significantly weakens it. I think I might take my water bottle holder off until I actually need it.
ahollow - you could sure put some acorn (dome) nuts on the top?

That’s a good idea! I would want to use a star washer or locktight, but since I don’t plan to remove the bottle carrier, that would work. Thanks!
As to breaking (or bending), it’s possible. I had 2 pretty big UPD’s Saturday, and everything has held up so far. I also use a quick-release clamp for the seat (it came with the N36). It allows the T7 and seat to “swivel” on a big impact, but holds tight enough the seat doesn’t move while riding, or even jerking around on the T7 handles. That helps with those big impacts that hopefully will happen less with my learning curve.
All the acorn dome nuts, the acorn part came off and became normal bolts, tightened them to much I guess.
yeah done that before 
when that happens i take it off, put some washers on and put on a new acorn nut.
