ahh, 14 straight minutes of rube goldberg devices
yeah, but they’re freaking AWESOME!
And I watched the whole thing too…
Except for the part in the middle were it’s the lame people… I skipped that.
I made one of those for a science project once…It was 3 and a half minutes long for it to get to its final goal, pouring my milk:) ill go see if i can find the video!
Thats awesome, it is a clip show from a japanese childrens show called pythagoras switch, if you would like to see a full episode I will try and upload it to google tommorrow.
It was fun, but the singing was getting annoying, haha. Is it me, or does it sound like ‘gita gita suichi!’
Also the weird guys in the middle of the commercials, they were funny too. They kept saying ‘gashin gashin’ which basically are comic sound effects. Kind of like ‘slash, boom’.
That’s why I put the vid on mute and listened to Weezer ( :
That was kool, reminded me of the school project i had, and the honda comercial where they have those =p
Here is a better link to it http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8796107381752803842
There’s one of these lurking on the internet that runs for 30 mins solid, without a single human intervention. Incidentally who was rube goldberg? In Britain they’re known as Heath Robinson devices.
that 30 min one was for honda, but it said it ttook them like 200 some trys to get it perfect
cartoonist with crazy devices: just google “rube goldberg cartoons”
(when I was a young dreaming boy at school I was almost never listening to what was being said but built rube-goldbergs machines to trap flies and so on. My teacher was desperate because I was the prototype for the good pupil never to be shown as an example to emulate! … )
Here is the only Honda one I can find:
Bizarre, after a little research it turns out that rube goldberg and heath robinson are entirely unconnected, but both were cartoonists whose cartoons feature complex contraptions.
The commercial for Honda was only two minutes, but it took 606 takes to get it right.
