Well, the American military has finally captured the genocidal murderer, Saddam Husein.
Do you mean the guy that Donald Rumsfeld shook hands with back in 1983?
He looked sorta like Gandolph the Grey with that beard.*
*No political commentary here, just an observation, similar to www.bushorchimp.com/.
I was thinking he looked like the Uni-Bomber.

Just because there are photos of people shaking hands with Michael Jackson back in 1983, when he was the King of Pop, doesn’t mean they condone his current alleged behavior.
Funny you say that, I was talking to a friend and he said the same thing.
The handshake between Rumsfeld and Hussain occured during the Reagan Administration when we were backing Iraq against the Iranians. Reagan’s goal was to kick-start an Iraqi chem/bio weapons capability so we (the USA) sold Iraq several nasty strains of germs and a few hundred barrels of nerve gas precursors.
Hussain used those weapons in the way Reagan intended - against the Iranians - in the 1980’s. He used them again to suppress the civil rebelions that followed the 1991 Gulf War.
According to the most recent intel reports Iraq disbanded their chem/bio programs because of the UN inspections and haven’t been active in WMD production or research for nearly a decade.
What’s my point? Allegations aren’t facts. It is possible that M. Jackson’s accusors are just gold digers, and it’s probable the Bush II allegations were hyped, if not outright fabricated. All the recent evidence suggests that the sanctions were working and Iraq wasn’t capable of threatening anyone.
Sorry if I’m rambling on in the wrong forum, but I’m a bit steamed that we’ve exhausted our military, ruined our international standing and wasted $160B+ swatting a fly when we should have been focused on preventing al Queda from regrouping.
sure, but suppose pictures exist of someone shaking hands with him and it can be shown that that person sold him kiddy-porn, it throws a slightly different spin on those pictures
doesn’t it?
