I am back on a limited basis.

Minneapolis was a really nice city, I think I want to move there. The Mall
of America, however, left much to be desired. The people there were going
insane because it was 90 degrees outside at noon (it was “record” heat).
I’m so used to mississippi days where we go in to three digits before
breakfast…

I had a wedge of my left leg bone taken out, and then it was lengthened 20
cm to make my leg straight again after my lest surgery over tightened one
side. I can’t see any real difference, but the change in length is killing
my calf, it’s not expected to be 20 cm longer!

I’m on some really great pain stuff and am getting a lot of sleep and
ice, so I will be online when I am awake and will let everyone know how
I am doing.

I’ll be off my knee for 8 weeks, but after that will go back (next summer)
for some surgery on the muscles and then I’ll have a completely new knee!

I thank everyone for their help. Please send me emails if you’d like to
get in touch, I’m not always certain to answer the phone.

Have a great day.

It’s not the temperature, it’s the humidity that people were going
“insane” about.

I am so glad you like Mpls. I grew up there and my sis still lives on the
south side near the river. I would move back in a heart beat if it weren’t
for that damn snow. All these years in the south has spoiled me.

Take care of yourself, Mark. I am glad everything went well.

Actually, no. I wear shorts and t-shirts when we have it 30 degrees here.

I am extremely hot natured. Somewhere nice and cool is definitely where
I’m headed.
