I am a computer idiot!!!

Okay, here is the deal. I have downloaded a few unicycle videos from various sites and I have a question. SOmetimes when I download, they seem to be downloaded and stored on the internet. Other times I spend 30-40 minutes downloading a 4.5 Meg video, and the next time I go to play it, it has to find the source… buffering etc… until 45 minutes later I can use my computer and watch the video again.

The one I am specificly having the problem with is the “Under No Influence” trailer. How do I ensure that it is saved in the Media Player? Or is there a better way to save these? Any help would be great.

i can’t think of very much regarding the situation. but, when you are saving the files, are you certain you are saving them? sometimes left-clicking on a link to a video will stream it directly from the internet into your media player/browser. to be certain about saving a file, i usually right-click and select ‘save target as’. (right click = using the other mouse button that opens up menus, depending on whether you have a left or right handed mouse) that should work. if not… let the computer wizards type their magic.

You’re probably right. I’ll try it that way in the future.

Well the future is now! I just tried it that way, and hot diggity it worked! Will miracles never cease? Thanks for the help Nosabe332.
