Interesting. It seems to be a little like Geocaching for books. I wonder if anyone has been geeky enough to post GPS coordinates for where they can find a particular book.
WOW, two introductions in two days from two totally different sourses, I’m going to have to check this out.
Also , if your in the Uk, look out for a play called the “Lad Lit Project” coming to an arts centre neer you. Its a bit good, ad it the actor from that who 1st told me about book crossing.

That’s pretty cool.
An old roommate of mine found a copy of “On the Road” in a Waffle House, while, believe it or not, on a road trip. She gave it to me on the condition that I leave it somewhere travellers would stop and find it. Maybe I’ll sign up and leave it at the youth hostel I’ll be staying at this weekend in Philly.
Wow, I remeber that. It’s been a few months since I cached a book. And over a month since I’ve retreived one. I started a good two years ago…
Problem is, it seems like nobody in my are leaves books I like to read.
Geocacheing is way more fun in ym opinion.

Wahay, my first book released on friday, and it got captured and logged on saturday. I’m so proud.
Gonna have to keep an eye on the site and see if any other books get released in the exeter area so I can go try to catch one myself.

Here at the University of Illinois I saw a book left with a label like that. I didn’t take it because the book did not appear to interesting to me, but it certainly sounds like a good idea.
Its interesting how far books must go and to how many people they must go. I think its great that people are willing to read those books and then pass them on when they’re done. Its a fantastic idea.
And now i caught one too. I’m part way through reading it and plan on returning it to the wild afterwards, can’t decide if I should return it near where I found it or some new place…

I vote somewhere new. I’ve been meaning to look into this book crossing thing after reading about it in a couple of different places. Having heard your success I reckon I’ll make my first foray into the world of crossing this weekend.
