When I post a message with an image, I click the “Insert Image” icon and it prompts me for a URL.
Once posted, I see that the image is being served from that URL location, not from unicyclist.com. The image doesn’t get copied to unicyclist.com.
So there is no guarantee the image will be there anytime in the future.
Usually the thread’s meaning depends on seeing the image.
When I put an image in a post I click the paperclip icon and then select the file and upload it from my computer. I would assume that it is uploading onto unicyclist.com, so that could solve your problem.
I put that picture on to make sure I remembered correctly.
Cool. That paperclip has it’s own option to upload from a URL.
I just did a preview to check it, and it works. And then you can hit the paperclip again and choose the attachment and put it within the body of the message.
Perfect! Thank you Julia B!
Am I the only one who learned something here? :o
Oh, and I like your signature. Too bad you also captured my typo :o
“a fire hydrants” Or is that the part worth quoting?
