How to make a coasting unicycle??

I was just wondering if anyone had any plans or anything to help me make a coasting unicycle, what parts do you need and directions would be nice…Thanks

There is a thread that talks about using a hub from a Huffy “Green Machine.” the parts are fairly cheap, but don’t expect them to be super high quality.

I don’t see the point of making a coasting unicycle, when a freestyle unicycle can be coasted. Square frames are best but you can coast a round crown too. Simply remove your feet from the pedals while riding and place them on the frame, using balance to keep yourself upright.

Cutting the front wheel off a bike would create a freewheeling unicycle but you would still have the handlebars.
