How to get on to paypal?

Hey I just wondered if anyone here knows what the process is for signing on with Paypal. I want to buy that jersey from Sofa and would find it handy it I could send him the payment via paypal.

thanks in advance for your help

Erin

http://www.paypal.com/ – Their website will walk you through the steps.

I know I’ve heard some negative things about the service in the past, so make sure you read all the agreements and terms of service before you commit. I’m sure there are also countless people who are totally satisfied with the service, looking at the number of people on eBay (for example) who use it as a method of rendering payment.

Later,
Eli.

I use paypal for most of my online buying.

One really nice feature is that you can send the money in the form of U.S.Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling or Yen.

This will make it easy for me (in the USA) to send my money for the jersey shirt to Sofa (in Canada).

Sofa… what’s your email address? I can do this sooner than later if I have it.

Paypal is weird, if you want to send $60, you have to actually write in $6000

if you haven’t gotten an account with PP yet, it’s not a short process. For security, you give them your visa #, then they bill your visa $1.95, on the visa receipt, a transaction code is given (on your bill)

you send PP this number, your card gets credited, and you get your account.

if you don’t want to wait for your report, you can call visa and ask…although it takes about 4 business days

Once you get it, i don’t think you have to renew it…just as your card expires

Thanks guys. I’m all signed up, in plenty of time for the jerseys Sofa… given that you said they might take as long as a couple of months before they are ready… that’s the time line right? Do give us a shout when they are nearing completion so we can send loads of money your way.

BTW, I tried to sign up on Paypal a few years back but it must have been in their ‘early days’ as they just could not seem to process Canadian applications. Anyways so far so good… once I get my member number, I’ll be ready to shop, shop, shop…LOL
