Beware however. Building wheels is not something that can be done well
simply by reading a set of instructions.

It takes time and patience. You will probably have to build a good few
wheels before you can realkly start to feel confident with it.

Having a good spoke key is essential and a good wheel building jig helps
enormously although wheels can be built well in the bike frame.

I have had the same problems too I found several web pages that gave me
all I needed to know. Unfortunately I did not save the pages for future
use… But I thought I’d let you know they are there. I printed out the
pages and successfully built my new wheel.

you need to know how many crosses you will need to get the spoke to fit
correctly into the wheel from the hub I did this by the old trial and
error method and if you stick with it you will get a nice sound from the
spoke as you tap it… Good luck M.
