I would have to say XTP seeing as

  1. its cheaper (in your case)

  2. im 99% sure the cranks won’t break (i have taken K1 light cranks and K1 street cranks off of >5 foot drops even though they are both supposedly weak)

  3. comes with a Try-All tire (better for trials)

  4. lighter

  5. sexy looking

The Offset spoke holes and the Smaller Oval cutouts makes it one of the best rims out there for sure.

The KH08 is “a lot” stronger. A 07 rim lasted my for 3 month, now im riding a KH 08 since end of august and its still 100% true without doing something.

For killing my K1 cranks: I took them of a 2,5m drop with a normal rollout.

I prefer the Maxxis CC over the Try-All for trials.
