How is the imaginery unicycle clock situated?

If the left foot is on the back pedal and is slightly up, is that 4 (maybe 5) or is that 8 (maybe 7)? I’m having difficulty figuring out which way the “clock” is facing. Is the front of the clock around to my left, or to my right?

I would look at it from the right side. 12:00 would be up, 6:00 would be down. 3:00 is forward and 9:00 is back. In this model the wheel rotates clockwise when going forward, which is a good way to remember it.

On the other hand, most of my clocks are digital, so my clock face interpretation may be rusty.

Hmmm. Why didn’t I think of that?! :o Going forward would mean the clock is going forward! Got it now. Thanks.

That’s like when people tell you to turn left, without giving you a point of origin. When you ask them which way that’s coming from, they get all confused. So then I hit them with compass directions. Then their eyes glaze over and their brain falls out.

Doesn’t really matter. Just know that up is 12. Cuz if your pedal is at 3, then you know the other pedal is at 9. if one pedal is at 6 you know the other is at 12.

Yep.

Got it.
