I got up this morning, had to go to the washroom, I stubbed my toe and stepped on something that went crunch and I realized damn I’m a really messy traveler.

Right now I’m in Guilin China, not really much to do here unless you go on organized tours of the surrounding areas, I’m probably going to go on a river boat tour to Yangshou tomorrow because if I don’t do it everyone will be like whats wrong with you!?

I came here to unicycle, unfortunately I can’t. Actually I broke that rule yesterday and cruised the streets on my 24 yesterday for something to do, and I’m hoping to do some mild trials the day before I leave.

I have attached some pictures though to show just how bad I am at keeping organized and tidy when traveling, as well as some pictures of just how amazing this and other Chinese cities are for street/trials. It is pretty much rediculous, although sometimes they polish the marble a bit too much. Yesterday I was trying to ride down a steep marble slope that was very polished and the wheel just couldn’t stay still, I went really slowly to start off and the second I resisted, it slid out!

haha It’s sligtly messy. Looks like a a cool place to ride there, have fun!

Why cant you unicycle though? Is there a law about it or something?

I sprained my ankle really badly on Lantau island in Hong Kong.

The colours in my ankle are almost gone now, and when that happens (and there isn’t any pain from riding) I’m going to slowly start riding again.

I just can’t get over how amazing this place is for riding, its driving me nuts.

Hope your foot gets better soon and you have a fantastic trip. Thanks again for shipping der Uber Coker before you left with all the other stuff you had going on.

I personally would be disturbed if you skipped an opportunity to go on a river boat tour on the Yangtze River. Are you going to be on the Yangtze or the Li river?

Thanks Harper, I’m glad I got the coker out, it wasn’t at all easy but I really did want to see it used and I’m glad it went to a good home.

I just got back now from a day trip to Yangshou on the Li river. We took a river boat along the river then checked out some of the country side, did a bamboo boat ride, and then checked out Yangshou a bit.

I didn’t like Yangshou at all but the river boat and the other stuff was definitely worth it. I also took a whole lot pictures and video on an actual camera this time, so I will upload them later.
