how high?

How high should the seat be in relation to you, on a regular uni? David Riley

Re: how high?

Your legs should have just a little bit of bend when the balls of your feet are
centered over the pedals.

An easy way to adjust the seat is to put your heels on the pedals, hold on to a
wall and pedal a few revolutions. Raise the seat as high as you can without
causing your hips to rock when you pedal.

This method will get the seat adjusted for regular road riding. For freestyle
you may want to lower the seat just a tad so it is easier to pull the seat out
and do other tricks. For muni you will want it lower still so it is easier to
jump and absorb the bumps.
