how do you search the threads

im trying to find a old unispin totorior i was looking at last summa but never tryd a unispin and im starting to try a 180 but how do you search for old threads???

FTW!

This is the greatest thread a n00bie has ever posted, ever.

Haha! would he even be considered a noob after asking such a good question?? I don’t think so.

Great question but nobody really answered the question. What happens when this tread gets buried and the OP needs to search and he only knows how to use the link that DudeWAS posted? How is he going to search for this thread?

The search button is on the second blue bar at the top of the screen. What Dudewithasock linked to is the advanced search feature which you can get to by clicking the “Advanced Search” under the text box that pops up when you click search.

Well it’s pretty self-explanatory if you just click the link…unless you lack any type of reading comprehension skills whatsoever.

HALLELUJAH!! Thanks for asking.

Dude and Sask both pointed you to places where you can begin to search. Also, if you are reading a thread, especially a long one, you can search within that thread alone by using the SEARCH THIS THREAD text box on the third blue bar down.

There is also a tutorial forum within unicyclist.com. It can be accessed from the “forums” link on the top blue bar.

Thanks again for asking. You’re a holy man.

the sad thing is ive bean a n00b on here for about a year zlolz i dont care lough your butt off atleast i can search now

I rate this thread a draw.
+1 for a clear and relevant subject line
-1 for poor spelling and poor grammar in the actual message

TheGreenMonster’s poor grammar in the message body may actually end up working against him. This thread as a great potential to get threadjacked before his question is adequately answered.

Experienced posters around here know to keep the questions clear, concise, and well formed in order to stave off the inevitable threadjack before the questions are answered.

Very true, but in my opinion the most important aspect of this thread is the topic itself: asking how to use the search function. A regular run-of-the-mill noob would have just asked the question he or she was wondering, but this one knows how this forum works, already, knows the question has been answered before in the past, and so wants to find it him or herself.
