how do i check type- in traffic?

i heard that overture search term suggestion tool is a good way to do that and i dont know what it is.

Go to overture.com, then click the “sign up with overture” link. Then
click the “Search Term Suggestion Tool” link. So, if you are trying to
figure out the type in traffic for a domain, such as xyz.com, you can
type in “xyz” in to the tool and it’ll tell you how many searches there
were for a previous month and in this case it’s 4040 searches. It’ll
also tell you other search that had the word “xyz” in it.

You could also use Google Adwords to get an estimate too.

To estimate type-in potential you should actually put the domain name
“as is” (i.e., no spaces between words and with “.com” attached) in the
box and see if it gets any searches at all.
