Horrey!!!

My unicycling fun was spoiled by loosing ability to mount.
I did try various methods to no effect. It was unconfortable because being sllightly over my teens I thought it was it.
I have met Mike Hinson recently and he said something to the effect ‘mounting is like walking upstairs’. He also mentioned that he puts quite a lot of weight on near foot when static mounting.
Both of this remarks were germinating in my beingnes and the outcome is I AM BACK TO STATIC MOUNTING 9 OUT OF 10.
It was the communication with the positive intent.

Congratulations on being back to mounting. Mike’s advice is not for
everyone though. My problem when I learned static mounting was that I
put too much weight on the near foot. But the amount of weight
needed/tolerated is related to where the near crank is when you begin
the mount. Higher means more weight.

be sure to remove the saddle and simply sit on the seat post. this is far more comfortable - tennisgh22 on the comfort of Savage unis
