a slot on national radio (Home Truths on Radio 4 for those in the UK) about how
riding a uni is a cool way to gain street cred when you’re over 40…
Simon Turpin (?) was describing how cool it was to ride through the shopping
mall and how once riding all those things you had to do at home faded into the
distance. Exactly right - obviously common experience amongst us !
Must be something in the air; or do we just have a good PR machine ?
My mum heard that article too. Lots of her friends have been asking her if she’s
my mother after seeing me on the news… makes a change from when I was a kid
and got asked if I was her daughter… sarah

I heard the same article and because I had been threatening to write to John
Peal for ages my girl friend immediately accused me of putting him up to it! I
don’t even know Simon Turpin! Home Truths panicle of all radio shows! What a PR
