Hi

I’ve been lurking on here for a while so I got around to joining today.

I started riding about a year ago and my stable consists of a 24" Torker LX and a 20" QU-AX Trials. Looking to go on some longer rides but I haven’t made up my mind on a 29er vs 36" yet.

I’m on an internship this semester that affords me lots of free time on the internet. After work I’m always up for riding and meeting some other unicyclists

Welcome to the forums!

For pure distance and some muni, id go with the 36". For some ok distance and a little bit more technical muni I would choose the 29".

Welcome

Welcome to the forums b.king.

Tough call 29 or 36. Jerrick is right with his assessment.

Judging by the fact you have 2 other uni’s you have dedicated muni available.

If you don’t feel intimadated by a 36" (Freemount, obstacle avoidance, idling) and want a long distance machine go the route of a 36.

If you want something that will let you go long distance (slower) and capable of technical muni in the same package. Try a 29".

Tough choice to be sure. For me I’m like the 29" for long distance riding due to the hills in my area and ability to muni on the spur of the moment.
