Hi guys, i’m a newbie from Singapore (its a small island in Asia).
Surfed the net and bumped into this website.
I started learning last week. Got myself a 24 inch unicycle. I’m interested in learning trials in the future. Is a 20" or 24" more recommended for trials? And for the tires, how thick should it be? Should it be slick (like hookworm?) or knobbies (kenda nevergal?)?
it should be a 20", big, thick, and knobby…
I’ve heard that kenda is more of a muni tire…however, the 06 DX comes with a good tire…I recommend that as a first trials uni…it’s mine, and I love it
That being said…
welcome to the forums!
welcome alvin. I am the one known as abbabibble. yet another guy in unicycling. You’ll love teh sport. It’s a great core workout. If you love it as much as i do, it’ll end up being a lifetime sport.
your best bet for a good unicycle is probably the internet. of course, the shipping and handling will probably cost more than the unicycle, but if you’re serious it’s probably worth it. welcome to the boards and to the sport hang in there! i know the first week is the hardest.
