I’ve seen your circus! I can’t remember the circus name. It was around 1986 or 7
when I saw you all at the International Clown Convention at Bognor Regis,
England. There were lots of decrepit clowns, and a few of us young anarchic
street performers. I’ve still got quite a few photos of your troupe outdoors and
in, riding all sorts of weird unicycles. I’d never seen anything non-standard
before, and it was really inspiring. Highlights for me were the cycling through
a flaming hoop over a see-saw in the middle of a bonfire, a running mount onto a
45" uni, the 2-wheel backwards giraffe, and my friend Haggis trying one of the 3
metre giraffes and not knowing how to get down (he clung desperately to a
flagpole, then shinned down it).
