My favorite magic or card trick videos are the ones that show how they’re done at the end. We need a masked magician of YouTube.

I don’t particularly like knowing how it’s done.
I prefer to be entertained for the most part.
I’ve developed a new card trick that I’m using when stilt-walking in the casino.
I go up to someone and spread open a fan of cards.
“Pick a card” I say, in time-honoured fashion.
As soon as they do, I say “Have a nice day” and walk away.
I’m buying packs at R5 so the trick costs me 10c a go.
Money well spent.
And good morning GILD. It’s fun when it’s morning in both places (although I have to stretch the definition of morning).
I like seeing how a few of the tricks are done. It doesn’t spoil the trick or the magic for me. In fact, a few months later I’ll forget the secret and it will be all magical again. When you see a few secrets it makes you realize how clever and slight magic can be and what it takes to actually pull it off. For me it adds to the entertainment value. But don’t give away all the secrets.
Agree: I hate being shown how a trick is done. I love to see tricks for which I cannot work out the processes involved. Some magical tricks are so ridiculously easy one they are figured out, that you cannot work out how you, the sudience, could be so gullible. Figuring them out myself is like doing the crossword. Good fun…but not if some else fills the clues in for you.
Knowing how a trick is done does not then completely destroy it. As in juggling, you can then try and appreciate the individual presentation.

lol…There are a lot of magicians that explain how to do a lot of tricks on youtube…even i have done some tutorials. I’m really suprised that no one has the slightest clue. This is probably the most daring card trick i know how to do…in that it uses a lottttt of sleights. I showed it to someone in person for the first time yesterday…worked like a charm. But then i was so happy w/ the amazement that i caused that i showed the person how i did it. But i’ve got to stop doing that haha. i know you guys don’t want to know how its done…but that defeats the purpose of the thread, for someone to figure it out.
