Hey, I'm new here

I’ve always thought unicycles were cool, but never thought much of getting one until recently. So after poking around here for a while to learn a little about beginner unis and how to go about starting, I finally ordered a Torker LX 20" and can’t wait for it to arrive.

Just wanted to say hello and thank you all for the great information on this site - it’s much appreciated and has been very educational. I know I have a lot to learn and am looking forward to the challenging fun.

Unicycles? This is the Freemason strip poker society.

Heh, I started on the same unicycle.

You’ll pick up on whatever lingo is thrown around verrrrryyyyyy quickly, and if there’s any unicycle based info you want to know, you’ll find it here.

Stop scaring the new guy.

In the meantime I’ll call your pocket queens and raise you kings.
Hah!
Your apron is mine!

Awesome! You better deal me a good hand, because you do not want to see me lose!

I call straight flash. Off with the bras, gentlemen.

i warn you, if i lose a pot, i will get angry. you wouldn’t like me when i’m angry.

Sweet! Another rider in Texas! You’ll make up for me when I leave next week

What? I didn’t think you could smell me from that far away. Where are you moving off to?

I can too :stuck_out_tongue:

welcome to the world of uncycling! you’ll have fun

And you’re only about an hour and ten minutes from me and the skatepark where the Dallas Unicycle Club meets weekly on sunday mornings! So if you ever want to make the looong drive over here, you can come and ride/have fun/get help from JuliaB, Mark Johnston, and Myself:)

I also learned on an LX 20", It’s a good uni.

evil-nick, I hadn’t realized you lived in Texas until now
