Hey. I’ve got this unicycle, but the tire is wobbly and it is absolutely
impossible for a monkey like me to ride. Does anyone monitor this group? If
so, I want to buy a GOOD (but cheap) unicycle. I am a fine citizen and an
outstanding individual. I deserve a good unicycle for my good conduct. I
will pay, but I’m just a senior, so I would love for it to be a total of not
too much, thank you quite a bit. Please answer me. I’m kind of lonely. -Ryan

Ryan,

Good and cheap are like the scales of justice. Too much of one, and you don’t
get the other.

That’s very admirable, don’t get me wrong. But in this country (are you in this
country?) all you really need is ca$$$h.
For new unicycles try www.unicycle.com
For used unicycles (buyer beware, as Gilby warned), try eBay.

As far as new unicycles go, you get what you pay for.

There is a list of unicycle manufacturers and vendors (from all over the world,
so find one near you) at my site:
http://www.gilby.com/unicycling/links/Equipment/
Since you want an inexpensive unicycle that is of good quality, then you
probably want to find a good used one (which is hard to come by, but worth a
shot). Try looking on eBay. Follow this link to do a unicycle search on eBay:
http://www.gilby.com/cgi-bin/links/jump.cgi?ID=118 A used miyata, semcycle or
schwinn would be a good choice for general use. Stay away from the cheap
Taiwanese ones.

Re: Hey! Help me!
my first uni which i still have is a savage 20" im 6ft tall…and i feel that
its a great learning bike
im sure most people on the list (yes, quite a few people monitor it) would agree
<some> bike stores have them… i spent 100$ on mine at my local bicyclery you
can get a new savage (or plenty of other learning unis’ off this site) off the
net for about 70$ from www.unicyclesource.com
if you’re over 6 ft, you may want to consider a larger wheel…
good luck
