Help!!!!

I just got my unicycle on March 20, '08 and I was okay but not great. I was really looking forward to getting really good to ride in the school talent show but I got surgery on my left foot on April 7 and I cant put any wieght on it until May 19 but then for the next 4 weeks or so I will be on crutches and doing (painful) physical therepy. My folks aren’t to big on video games so all I have is a DS and a PSP. Are there any unicycling games for those systems? I’ve tried all the ones online but as you can guess, they aren’t much fun. Does anybody have any good ideas to pass the time that include unicycling? I can’t use crutches until the 19th of May because my right foot hurts as well so I get to ride this awesome scooter thing (picture attached) everywhere! Although it’s not as much fun as a unicycle, it’s pretty cool but I still need something to do that involves unicycles. Someone please help!

Hate to double post but I thought some people might want to know how I ride the scooter. This isn’t me in the picture but this is how you ride it.

You ever take that thing off any sweet jumps? lol. Okay, there are a few video games, but not for ds, or psp. Their only pc things, such as Project Uni. Project uni, although in development, is the best one imo. BrianO. Could probably educate you more on the game, since he is a cocreater of it. Theres nothing else really, minus freerider 2, or things just for balancing things.

Good luck!

Graham

Cool. I recommend you learn a bunch of tricks on that thing and enter the school talent show on it! End with a fake “getting-hurt-worse-than-you-already-were” crash, and guys taking you out on a stretcher. Seriously.

And don’t tell your parents about practicing the tricks until the show, if you can help it.

Hey there, he mentioned ProjectUNI. It’s a 3d unicycling game mrSparkle and I are working on. Its no where near finished but we’ve released an early demo of sorts for people to mess around with. This summer should see quite a bit of progress for the game. If you are running windows on your computer you should check it out, its requirements are fairly low. If you are on OSX then you should be able to play it using Crossover, or for you Linux users by using Wine.

Got any friends who ride?

Ive always planned that if im too injured to ride, that I will film and do photography of my other unicycling buddies. And take that time to really work on film/photo editing.

And be on these forums a lot to not miss any of the action and news.

Also, does your uni need any work, take it all apart, clean it, regrease it, true it up, make it feel like new when you can ride again.

For games, theres not much, and id really only play ProjectUni. Maybe try some other online games though, like Rappelz, Flyff, TwoMoons, WoW, RS. Just dont get addicted, otherwise, once you can uni, you want to any more. lol

Heal quickly.

Yeah I have some friends who ride and thats a pretty good idea. Here’s my ramp and I’ve taken my scooter off it quite a bit. And johnfoss, you said not to tell my parents, but she was reading over my shoulder. WOOPS!

That ramp looks like something i would ride a UW or BC on. It also looks like a good speed ramp too also. :stuck_out_tongue:

I was kidding of course. Hi unibicibyclibe’s mom!

In other words, you could still be in the show if you want. And if you do, never underestimate the power of comedy. There’s usually too little of it in those shows (and too much singing).

BTW, please don’t forget to put your subject in the subject (title) line when creating your next thread.

Yeah theres to much singing:D
