Help

i bust up my seat bummpers big time and want some ways to prevent that

Ducttape.
No, not Madison.

Actual ducttape.

thanks. i was thinking that but it didnt seem right

The ducttape will protect the bumper from most scratches and scuffs, but anything bigger than a crack and it’s new bumper time.

Ehh, what sort of bumpers do you use and how do you bust them up? I’d suggest using KH type of seats with KH bumpers, those are hard to break. If you bust those up, I’d really like to see a vid.

i just have fallen alot and its just scuffed up and im getting a new uni an want to prtecit it

If you wanna protect it put it in a fireproof safe.

Also:

  1. Start unicycle-related threads in RSU(after searching to see if you question’s already been answered)
  2. Choose more informative subjects for your threads, e.g. “How do I keep my bumper from scratching” as opposed to “Help”. Help yourself.
  3. Welcome to the forums. I love you.

dude, its there to take the blows for your seat. No need to protect the protector

  • but if you must you can glue some flexy plasic to it.

thanks for the tips (wy do you love me)

ivan is a love machine:p

The first thing you do is to learn to use more descriptive thread titles.
This one, for example, should’ve been something along the lines of’
“How can I protect my seat-bumpers?”
Then people who knows about seat-bumpers will open and read the thread.
With a title like “help”, you’re getting maybe 10% of forum-traffic opening your thread.

Good thread titles are very kewl. All the cool kids are using them.
Don’t get left behind.

And welcome to the fora.

The purpose of the bumper is to protect the seat… it’s much worse to have a scuffed seat than a scuffed bumper.

There is no “bumper bumper”… your bumper is going to get scuffed. Duct tape is a temporary fix that just gets sticky, dirty and messy after a while.

If you’re really concerned about having a beautiful bumper either stick to riding in the gym, or buy a lot of bumpers.

Because your a girl?

That is so true. :stuck_out_tongue:
