I have a very large video, its 60mb and i have to get it down, do any computer genius’ out there have some words of wisdom for me,

If you have Windows XP then use Windows Movie Maker to compress the video. It does a very good job of compression.
If you have some other flavor of Windows then use TMPGEnc to compress the video. TMPGEnc will output an MPEG-1 file. MPEG-1 doesn’t compress as well as Windows Media, but it is more compatible with different systems like Linus, Unix, older Macs, BeOS, and more.
