Help with ancestor research

Hi Folks

This is completely un related to unicycling, but you folks are some of the smartest and most helpful people i know, me and my grandpa are trying to find out about his father who died on the 4th of september in 1940.

His name was John Henry Haigh
He was in the Royal Irish Rifles, he was a captain.
And was awarded the Cr De Gr which was a military award in Belgium we think, he was also an Mc.

Don’t have alot of info on him but my grandpa is very keen to find out anything,
who he married,
when he married
what he did
who he was.

If any of you could spare some time to have a quick check or have any resources or advice for me it would be much appreciated

Cheers Folks.

Lucas

Dude, I’m falling in love with your sister. Please don’t hurt me.

I found a very interesting site about that

You could probably find stuff there, it tracks peoples death dates and birth dates and history of them…I’m trying to find me lol

Hope this helps!

Dude, your 18 and I think she is 14, maybe 13.

Try looking up some Mormon church/website. They are incredibly helpful when it comes to family trees. My mum went through a thing of tracking our family history, she got to about the 1700’s.

hes not talking about my sister is he? shes 12 lol

Never mind, I’m over it now.
