Give me an idea for a short story, it’s due on Tuesday and I haven’t started yet.
Whoever gives me the best idea gets a cookie.
write about something you like. that’s the easiest thing ever.
There’s no reason for you to have to ask for ideas.
I know, there shouldn’t be a reason. But I’m not creative, at all.
My advice is right a crap one, and just don’t care what your result is. For any English exam that ever actually matters, there won’t be a creative component (unless you have really crap exams wherever you live). Writing a creative story has nothing to do with your grasp on the English language, which is what English is actually used for in the real world.
Doh! More care needed in posts about the English language.
And the idea of creative writing, as well as stimulating the imagination, is to make you write so that you get practice.

Write a story about how an american kid visited Canada and some Inuits (eskimos) kidnapped him and held him in their igloo. And then they called the kid’s parents and asked for 1,500 lbs of seal meat for ransom. And then… I don’t know… for a big plot twist… have the kid join the inuits and learn how to live off the land or something. And when the kid’s parents come with the ransom, he refuses, saying how he hates technology and wishes to live a simpler life.
How about a story about traveling to Vancouver BC and riding at the North Shore. The best part is that in fiction you can ride better than you can in real life.

Write a mega long story, and translate it into binary then you will get an “A” for sure! Actually write something that isn’t really a short story, more of a thesis or an essay. I always find a way to make unicycles the main subject of my english essay’s and it hasn’t failed me yet!

And the wery same night, Lisa grabs some clothes, a can of coke and her juggling clubs, and heads out, for the circus who is leaving early the same morning.
