Hi, everybody. I’ve been away from the list for a couple years, so I figured I’d
introduce myself again. =20
I now live in Moscow, Idaho and am a mechanical engineering student at the
University of Idaho. (Anybody that lives close drop me a line.) =20 I love
mountain unicycling. I see that some nice progress has been made=20 in
production Munis in the last couple years. =20
Still, I’ve never met another mountain unicyclist. I’m going to try=20 to make
it to Lake Tahoe this year so I can meet some of you guys. =20
I’ve got two unicycles right now. They both are modified Zephyrs. =20
The first one has a 27x1.25 street tire, 5" cranks, and triple traps. =20 Nice
slaloming on the flat!
The other one has a 26" aluminum rim, Miyata seat converted to air, 170mm
aluminum cranks, pin style platform pedals, and just last week I got a 26x2.6"
Gazzaloddi downhill tire. And I was wondering, what kind of pressure do you guys
run in this tire? So far I’ve been riding on about 13 psi (for maximum bounce).
I weigh about 150 and the unicycle is about 12. Also, the tire shifts on the rim
some when I ride it, so that the valve stem is now angled about 30 degrees off
of perpendicular. Does this happen to any of you? =20
Cheers
Chris
